Erik Hopkinson
Erik Hopkinson is recognised as one of Victoria’s leading liquor licensing experts.
With more than 30 years of experience in the field of liquor licensing for metropolitan and regional Victoria, Erik has held a number of senior positions within the liquor and hospitality industry -.
- Architect of the Victorian Liquor Control Act
- Commissioner – Victorian Liquor Control Commission
- Founding Chief Executive Officer of the Liquor Licensing Commission
- Established the Box Hill Institute of TAFE School of Hospitality and Tourism
As a leading liquor licensing consultant in private practice, Erik is the ‘go to’ man to the leaders in Victoria’s liquor industry.
Erik has also held a number of senior advisory and other positions for William Angliss College, the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and Victoria University.
He also regularly provides expert evidence and reports for Victorian courts and government/private sector entities.
Nicole Hopkinson
Nicole is the co-founder of Hopkinson & Associates and has more than 20 years experience in the preparation, lodgement, and management of liquor licence applications.
Her experience ranges from working with boutique single businesses to large scale developments.
Nicole is also a published writer/author in Australia and the United States, appearing in a range of publications including Instyle, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Real Simple, The Australian, and the Herald Sun.
Nicole has a particular interest in the preparation of Submissions and long form application support material.
